for now
I've started work on a replacement for ye olde Nav 3... Futuristic music so far (still in the requirements gathering and initial user interface design stages), but I expect to have something in a few months.

wow, NAV is a free flight planner which first version was designed to FS 5.1, it was my first flight planner!
It was discontinued in 2000, not sure if someone still use it.
Glad to hear someone will bring NAV to life again

I was actually using it for a very long time but the decision of Ted Wright (the initial author) not to update it to support FS2004 and on caused me to move on to other realms, FS Commander in this case.
Jeroen, if you really come up with a new version compatible with FS2004 and FSX I'll gladly return to NAV.

yes Rodrigo, I still use Nav for VFR planning (mostly for laying out long distance multi stop routes rather than to plan individual flights).
