Win/32 emulators / VMs - TCA_tech - 03-29-2009

Question to the systems specialists among us:

Which of the various emu's or VMs would be the most suitable to run MSFS (9) under Ubuntu (aka Jaunty Jackalope) , which - I understand - is Debian based ?

Thanks in advance

Karl

Hi Karl,

I would say none of them. The Emus do not emlulate any suitable GFX card. The only light at the end of the tunnel would be WINE, but their database says that it does not work with FSX/FS9 yet (www.winehq.org)

Thanks that, at least gives me an idea ... so for the time being no other chance than using Windoze on one partition, together with all the firewall antiroot antivir etc there is.

thanks again
