I managed to flame out both engines attempting a tailslideAshamed

The right relit OK but the left just wouldn't restartScry At just over 60 miles to destination there weren't any suitable airfields to divert to so I declared an emergency and headed straight to MSLP

Hi Steve,

nice shots, ehm, I mean nice picturesBiggrin
Did maintenance find the cause for the double flame out? Maybe the A-10 is showing its age? Confused

Thank you for showing these pictures again. The A-10 looks like one of the 80's as they were based in the UK (RAF Bentwaters?). If i use the A-10 from Aerosoft I always use the aircraft from there.

Enjoy the following trips Music

RE: North to South 23 - Gatwicksteve - 08-22-2012

Thanks Christian!

The cause of the double flame out has been identified as my clumsy flying! (They politely called it pilot error)

This A10 is from the Pennsylvania ANG based at Willow Creek, but the colour scheme is the same as the Bentwaters based A10s wore ( I have happy memories of watching them dogfighting at low level over East Anglia in the late 80s Dance4)

BTW, I had a look at the Milviz F15E offer ( I already use the milvz/nemeth Chinook which is a very nice package ) and temptation got the better of me! I haven't flown it yet but will certainly be using it on this trip when I get out of Colombia (I've the nice FAC Super Tucano freeware lined up for that!)

Nice shots Steve.
Think the F15E by Milviz will be a hell of a great aircraft also, myself I use the Iris Mudhen :-)
