Hello guys,

tonight at 1700Z we will have another MP Session starting from Catalina Island and heading back to the coast making landfall near San Diego. From there we will make a little round trip going down south to Esenada in Mexico and from there heading northeast to Mexicali before we will get back to the US with a nice touch and go at El Centro NAS. Via several intersections we will head to Julian (JLI) and pass it for Ramona and again to San Diego until we finally head for 'On The Rocks' (1CA6). Cheers DrinksDrinksPopcorm1

Hope to see you all...Yahoo
Some of my screenshots of this session

The closest thing resembling Dave's Beech Star'ship' that my FSInn found was a cruise 'ship'.
So Dave started in my session with quite some tonnes in the scale.
However I could live with that since he had quite some nice lookin' ladies on board.

Lining up a cruise ship on the runway at Catalina looked quite off, so I decided to assign the default Baron for the rest of the session.

Due to some confusion in the flightplan I ended up on left downwind for RW27 at San Diego instead of the Naval Air Station.
No problem however this also being a nice scenery that we frequently visit when flying football charters after summer.

Christian and Dave did touch at the Naval Air Station

See you back next week !

Hi guys,

then it is up to me to post my pictures. I was late due to some problems with my Track IR, which quit working just before the MP Session. If you ever have used it and you are used to it you will hardly miss it if it doesn't work. so it happened that we departed 40 minutes lateCray
Something else that made things worse was the low visibility. I could barely see Dave and Stefaan. And for me as well Dave was flying a ship: his well known Starship RoflBiggrin
[attachment=3821]

After takeoff I had some problems finding my way, but I made it to the first Airport, San Clemente (KNUC).
[attachment=3822]

Enroute to San Diego at higher altitudes the weather was somewhat better, but still low visibility, but this all got better the nearer we got to the coast.
[attachment=3823]
[attachment=3824]

On a right downwind for RWY 29 at North Island NAS (KNZY).
[attachment=3825]

Checking the bridge: Bridge is there!
[attachment=3826]

Prior to touch down on RWY 29.
[attachment=3827]

Next for a left downwind to San Diego (KSAN)
[attachment=3828]

You don't want to fly lower, although you have to...
[attachment=3829]

After the touch and go we continued towards the Mexican border near Imperial.
[attachment=3830]

15 minutes I already was on a right downwind to Ensenada (MMES) runway 29.
[attachment=3831]

Airborne again.
[attachment=3832]
[attachment=3833]

Enroute to Mexicali Stefaan is behind me. Very safe. Biggrin
[attachment=3834]

Touch and go at Mexicali (MMML).
[attachment=3835]

Stefaan is performing his touch and go and I covered it. Buba
[attachment=3836]

Then I discovered another nice airfield just in front of us: Calexico (KCXL). I couldn't resist and flew a touch and go there as well.
[attachment=3837]

Then we arrived at El Centro NAF and I selected an open runway Biggrin
[attachment=3838]

Leading the pack over ASIYO intersection.
[attachment=3839]

At Ramona (KRNM) I flew the last touch and go.
[attachment=3840]

Then we once more came across San Diego Lindbergh (KSAN).
[attachment=3841]

OK, we finally made it to 'On The Rocks'. Cheers. Yes

I hope you enjoyed the trip.
