Hi guys,

The flight today was really nice again although the weather was not so well during the day. We had to fight with sometimes low visibility and I had also to fight some very strong turbulence and my Ta-152C got bounced really hard.
This is the last part of the flights in England and we will head over to France today as you can see in the map.

During departure it was raining and here you can see Pär ready for departure in his P-51D Mustang:

Stefaan is coming up behind me...

Lets go!

A few minutes after departure we passed RNAS Culdrose (EGDR). A lot of helicopters seem to be based there...

I am already climbing out again after the first touch and go at Plymouth.

As I was checking the airports for todays flight I came across Portland Navy (EGDP) and Pär claimed it to have a rather short runway. I found out it has a rather comfortable runway in my checking, but upon my arrival it has somehow shortened by app. 7000 feet or so...

It was only a very low approach as was not able to 'hit' the runway.

OK, later after the MP Session I found out that I checked for EGPD (Aberdeen-Dyce). My badBiggrin A simple typo resulting in a fun approach.

The Westland factory at Yeovil (EGHG).

In the beginning of this MP Session I had some trouble with my FS9. A scenery that I had installed obviously brought my FS9 to drop out two times until I disabled the scenery for the Isle of Wight. So I always was a little bit behind the guys and so they waited for me at Bournemouth (EGHH).

Passing by over Sandown. The huge building in front of runway 23 will cause a missed approach as I only was able to see the markings for RWY 05, which I took for the markings of 23 during approach.

So I ended up with a low approach only...Biggrin

After the touch and go at Shoreham (EGKA):

Unfortunately only one pictures of Gatwick (EGKK) made it through. For some reason the first picture that I took missed all the buildings Cray
Hey Steve, did you see me rocking my wings for you?

Final for runway 24 at Calais. On my first approach I bounced and then the aircraft drifted to the right and I initiated a go-around and the second landing was somewhat better. The FW-190 and Ta-152 are very tough to land. They bounce on every landing!

Here we are: Calais-Dunkerque!

So, from next week on we will rock France. Vive la France! I hope to see you all again next weekend.

We're near the little town called Wissant where I and Carine regularly go to enjoy the gastronomical delicatesses of seafood they serve there at 'Hotel Normandy' :-)
When you go there on sundaymornings, there's a market where you can buy fresh fish, and you can see the local fishermen at work.

Hi Pär,

Very nice pictures. The picture of Gatwick, is this the UK2000 scenery?
