Yesterday we had another nice MP Session flying from St. Dizier to Abbeville. We departed a little bit late, but we would be easily catch up time as we were flying fast aircrafts. I again was flying the F/A-18E from VFA-31 'Tomcatters', whilst Stefaan tried his F-16 from Aerosoft in a very nice paint scheme. But have a look on your own.


We lined up on runway 29 at Robinson AB and off we went.


And it didn't last long as we were already on approach to runway 10 at Vatry (LFOK).


Along the route and a nice depiction of the weather. It was rather hazy, which in fact made flying less comfortable and I really couldn't enjoy the scenery.

Then we came to the most fun part of the whole Session. Lets Rock Paris! But I also could say lets rock the house! Soon you will find out why.

OK, after having quite some fun it was time to get back to the serious part of the flight and perform a touch and go at Paris-Orly (LFPO).


Then my FS9 froze and I had to reboot my computer and whilst Stefaan waited for me at Charles-de-Gaulle (LFPG) his FSX also crashed on him.
But here we are near CDG.


As I was experiencing an unexpected behavior on the controls I decided to perform a full stop and check the FBW...


I was not really able to resolve the issue, so I had to continue on with the trip and here we are already over Abbeville. I created Abbeville area using Maps2Bgl and ADE to create the airfield layout and also place some library objects.


Well, go-around! Stefaan was approaching from the opposite direction which was the active runway anyway.

Well, I think I picked the wrong livery for Stefaan's F-16...


So, here we are at Abbeville and now we will have a break for the Easter holidays and continue in two weeks only. I hope you liked the report and pictures and I will be sure Stefaan will add his very soon as well.

Every year I attend a bike ride that covers part of the Belgian, French, Luxemburg and German territory and is called the '1000 corners' ride.... Now this was definitely the 1000 corners flight :-)

Very nice pictures Guys, I'm sorry that I couldent join as this session was one of the best visiting France. ill be back next week.
