The sixth leg of this journey takes us to the beautifull New Zealand South Island.
And since this leg was a rather long leg over water I decided to take the BAF F16 31st Tiger Sqn for the trip.

Overview of the trip:
This was a rather direct routing taking us from Launceston, Tasmania to Invercargill New Zealand.

All fueled up and getting ready to leave Launceston

On Cruise power we climbed to FL250 for the long stretch over water.

... and soon we were settled in a nice cruise

While on descend it came clear that weather was deteriorating... dark clouds and rain

Over Invercargill and setting up for an outbound leg to land on RW22

First aiming for a 3° glidepath and setting the FPM (flight path marker) on the touchdown area

... adjusting while we get closer while also setting up for the correct AOA

... looking great

... and a smooth roll out on RW22

Hi Stefaan,

Very nice screenshots of a nice flight.
Sorry that I had to cancel the MP-Session, but after I had canceled it, it took another 2.5 hours to solve the problem with loading the flightplan. I always ended up with an symmap.dll error. It somehow was related to the NL2000 scenery. At lest after I did some changes there everything worked correctly again.
See you again next weekend.
