Yesterday I flew an Aeroflot line from Jose Marti Intl, Havana - Cuba to Sheremetyevo Intl, Moscow - Russian Federation.
Today I flew the return flight to Cuba, based on a real Aeroflot flightplan and decided to illustrate it a bit :-)

Aeroflot uses the Airbus A330 on this route, but I decided to go for the McDonnel Douglas MD11 by PMDG in our Tradewind Caribbean livery, PJ-LAB.

Cruising at FL300, our first target level, we fly over St Petersburg where we change course to head over Finland and Sweden

Quite a bit later, meanwhile stepped through FL320/340 to FL360, we're about to leave Greenland behind and cross the Davis Strait towards Canada

Along the US East Coast over Martha's Vineyard

Meanwhile stepclimbed to our final level, FL380, we're passing over the Fort Lauderdale / Miami area

Shortly thereafter we're already descending through FL250 on the FARAC1 arrival into Havana

I hope you enjoyed reading this report as much as I enjoyed the flight and writing it Heart
Hi Stefaan.

Very good report and very nice pictures. But why is the wing in the picture taken over Miami so strange looking?

I hope the charter passengers of the F1 Charter don't miss their aircraft Monday morning to get home Biggrin

Great story and photos Stefaan!

By the way, wondering where you got the Aeroflot flight plan? Always interested in trying real-world routes.

Best regards,
