The new PC is up and running, delivering stunning results for FSX!

I've flown a couple of practice flights to ensure everything is running properly, using the Carenado/TAT Piper Seneca from Guernsey to Alderney (shooting some NDB approachesBeach)

These were using the default FSX environment which is just too "cartoon" in it's effects for me. I've used Flight Environment X for more realism previously, but after reading good reviews I've installed Active Skies 2012 and am very pleased with the results, here in the MILVIZ/TAT Cessna 310R, again from EGJB to EGJA..

On with the assigned flights - I have some catching up to do!!

Glad to hear Steve!
I'm also very happy with AS2012, and I'm looking forward to the release of FTX Global:
Nice shots, you're back on the way !
Hey Steve,

Good to hear that you are back in the saddle Biggrin
Really nice screenshots for the beginning. Waiting for the 'real' stuff now Rofl
Steve,

Good to hear....

I'm probably not too far from you as I type? We are on the River Wey in a Narrow Boat for a week. Weather has been intermittent to say the least. Hail stones to brilliant sunshine. Currently drinking Guiness outside a pub at Pyrford.

I miss high speed internet but hey it is a holiday ;-)

Love the screenshots BTW

Hi Jack, not far at all, I'm close to Horsham and I know that pub at Pyrford! (My wife works in Guildford) - hope the weather stays at least partly agreeable for you!

Some more, now the Caribbean scenery is loaded!

2 charters, again featuring the Seneca and C310. Seneca was from St Barts to Mustique and the 310 from Tortola to Anguilla...

I've flown Aprils assignments now, just got to catch up on MaysDance4

Very nice shots again Steve.

Why is the runway marking at Mustique looking so blurry? Is it the scenery itself?

Good that you catch up with your assignments. Enjoy them - and don't forget to take pictures. Biggrin
Hi Christian, yes it's the scenery at Mustique - I think it's supposed to represent the worn aged markings on the real runway, because everything else is crisp and sharp...
