FS9 works so well on my machine, it's a pleasure to use. I have to dumb down FSX for performance issues, so it's not even on my hard drive anymore. Can't see spending $2000 to run it when FS9 is smooth as silk, has great addons in every catagory, an where I can fly my old style TCA aircraft as well. :-)

I switched to FSX the day it was released (literally!) and haven't looked back except to test some addons for people.

Still with FS9. Didn´t buy FSX yet, although there´s a shop that has FSX just a few blocks away. FS9 runs pretty fine in my system, and I am afraid FSX wouldn´t run so good. The old question...

what question would that be, Rodrigo?
The oldest question I can find is "where are the women?" but I doubt that's the one you're referring to.
The next oldest one is "where's the booze?" which may be the one, but I don't see how that relates to the issue at hand except very generally.

Just rejoined the old TCA group after a good few years absence !
Built my new rig from scratch and FSX works like a dream...glad I found it again !
Now - I just need to remember how to land ! :D

no, not referring to women, the old question just reffered if FSX ,the latest FS version, would run fine in my system (like FS 9) as everyone does when a new FS version is released, that´s why I called 'old question'
:D

FSX and FS9 run equally well on my current rig. I've got them both throttled at 25fps so I can keep up with them :)

I like FSX but feel that we were promised a DX-10 version and ended up with only the "preview." So, for those who bought new PC's just for FSX, it wasn't the best idea. I hope my wife never finds out!
