Hi Guys,
Felt like doing this charter from my homebase EBOS to Madrid, once more using the A320 this time in Thomas Cook livery registration OO-TCJ.
Won't get much more Belgian than this LOL
Leaving Ostend on the FERDI1M departure from RW26... lovely view of this very familiar part of the Belgian coast to me....
Had my engineering studies up there end 1980's and now living only about a 20 minutes drive from here we're fortunate to enjoy lot's of walks at the beach.

Turning towards KOK with the 'Nieuwpoort Marina' in the background

Over the city of Diksmuide, also merely a 10 minutes drive from where we live.

And we continue our routing being:

About to enter Spain, over the Pyrenees mountain range... guess everyone that watched the Tour De France Cycle race once will know them ;-)

On the BAN3B arrival into LEMD towards the RW18L ILS.

As you can see, LEMD airport stretches over quite a bit of land so we're bound to have quite a bit of a taxi.
Our assigned gate sits on the 'other side', the terminal near the top left of the image.
