Many thanks. Dewpoint - brisschris - 11-14-2009 Hi, I am brisschris.I am new to this forum.I like your post..you are great. One of the important weather factors that growers should pay attention to in the frost forecast is the dew point temperature. The dew point temperature is the temperature to which the air must be cooled before dew or frost begins to form. The dew point temperature is also a measure of the amount of water vapor in the current air mass. The higher the dew point, the more water vapor there is in the air. Air holds water in various amounts in the invisible gas state, called water vapor. Due point are depending on temperature.Dew point temperature is defined as the temperature to which the air would have to cool in order to reach saturation. A state of saturation exists when the air is holding the maximum amount of water vapour possible at the existing temperature and pressure. Thanks. |
