Talkeetna to Skwentna with two Piper Cubs - TCA2050 - 07-29-2010
Me and Vic were chatting at the apron of Talkeetna when a couple came along...
they wanted to go to Skwentna and asked if we could help 'm out....
no other planes available so we had to resort to our two cubs... the couple agreed and along we went...
Lined up at Talkeetna RWY 26, Vic in his blue Cub
Both airborne and looking for a general direction of 220... trying to find visuals along the way...
Vic shortly behind me...
Weather worsened a bit closing in on Skwentna... but still good enough for a visual landing; RWY 27.
Getting down....
Vic managed to bleed of speed better than I... I needed more runway to get down
Arrived at Skwentna...
Now me and Vic will get us a good meal and some drinks at the Bentalit Lodge..

It appears that you both had an enjoyable ride. But what happened to Pär? I thought he wold join you...

In the end we got things set up ok thanks to Vic's experience in this domain :-)
Par had to leave before we took off.... personal matters.
