CAP PAWD PADQ - TCA2050 - 10-31-2010

Taxiing to the active runway at Seward PAWD

Nice roar of the burner and climbing out for a low and slow (at least for a Starfighter) flight at 550IAS and 8.000 ft to Kodiak.

Near Homer we turned towards Kodiak

Over the water we kicked in some burner again for a short stint at M1.3 :-)

Think we're closing in fast..... Kodiak (PADQ) should be somewhere at the furthest patch of land...

Not much time to play around on approach ... concentration is the name of the game... so in no time we touched down and rolled out on RW25.

And taxied in...

Quite a short but exiting ride :-)

RE: CAP PAWD PADQ - CBreuer - 10-31-2010

Hey Stefaan.

Nice pictures of your F-104. I have a F-104G at Victoria at the moment. Maybe we should consider a MP Session one dayBiggrin

This is a repaint of a F-104G of MFG2 (German Navy) by McPhat. And of course mine is the CaptainSim Version. I seems to be a hell of a climber in clean configuration...

Hi Christian,
Now that looks like a plan to me !
The livery you have is exactly the one I found in my aviation book I got when I was about 8 years old and I completely fell in love with that plane....Heart now when we get to Lelystad next week I want to check out on that static F104 once more Thumbup

I do need more practice getting used to the high approach and landing speeds... but I'm working on it.... going for another spin in about a minute.

Well, unfortunately not today as I am already on the Cargo Dispatch flight from Nassau to Anchorage...
But we should keep it in mind. Maybe later this week, or even today i will be posting some pictures from the virtual cockpit.
