Turning to final runway 22:

Let's see what happens at Melbourne...

RE: B777-200F 'PJ-LRG' 'Mundu Transportadó' - CBreuer - 08-10-2016

I seem to be always one day behind of making these flights, but that is no problem. Now here are some pictures of the flight from Colombo to Melbourne, but first lets start again with the ATC flightplan:
(FPL-TWL809-IS
-B77L/H-SDE1FGHIJ1RWXYZ/LB1
-VCBI1415

As we had a night departure I didn't take any pictures of the departure, but I took a picture as the sun was still rising over Australia. Here we are somewhere off the coast of Australia:

Nearly 45 minutes later we were passing Adelaide:

Two hours later we were already approaching MEL via ARBEY8Z for an RNAV Z34 approach to runway 34.

Melbourne to our left:

Turning to final.

Established and on finals:

The approach was really nice with good frames, but as soon as I hit the ground the refresh rate dropped to a level where it was not funny to do anything, so I shut P3D down and did another try after deleting all the shaders. But this didn't help much, but it was a little bit better, so we were able to taxi to our parking position H1.
Parking brake set for a BTB time of 9:18.

Time to unload the aircraft, give the crew a little rest for their next flight to Pago Pago.

Melbourne V3 from ORBX is a nice scenery although at least I seem to have some issues with it. I've already ordered a new graphics card, but I doubt that my problems are related to the graphics card only... We will find out sooner or later.

RE: B777-200F 'PJ-LRG' 'Mundu Transportadó' - CBreuer - 08-11-2016

Here we go again, this time as TL810 from Melbourne to Pago Pago:

RALT/YSSY NZAA NFFN

It was an early morning departure from runway 34.

After just less than 5 hours into the air we were approaching Pago Pago on the ILS 05 approach.

After landing we taxied to gate B1

We were greeted with rain Dramaqueen

Hopefully the weather will be better in Seattle...
So stay tuned for the next flight.

RE: B777-200F 'PJ-LRG' 'Mundu Transportadó' - CBreuer - 08-12-2016

We didn't stay long enough on American Samoa to explore the islands - maybe next time...

It was another departure in the dark, hence no pictures.
But at some point the sun was rising and with the clouds in front of us it was an impressive view.

No more pictures during the Pacific crossing, but of the arrival and again we were just turning to intercept the localizer of runway 34C.

Already on finals:

Very short finals:

Left the runway and taxiing to the FedEx ramp just prior to cross runway 16L/34R.

On the ramp, unloading in progress:

Nice scenery with Mount Rainier in the background:

Short stop here for us with the option to visit the Boeing plant, before we continue on to the final destination this month: Havana, Cuba! Icon_idea

RE: B777-200F 'PJ-LRG' 'Mundu Transportadó' - CBreuer - 08-18-2016

And the final flight for August heading to Havana:

PER/D
-E/0708)

It was 01:55 local time that our departure was scheduled for.

I don't like taking pictures in the dark as you can't see really much except a pitch black screen. So here are already pictures of the arrival to Havana. Still beautiful weather:

And then all of a sudden clouds where else you look around:

The runway ahead:

Short final and somehow two runways lay above each other:

Nonetheless the landing went smooth and so we taxied to the parking position and unloading the aircraft can begin:

These were some really nice flights again. Stay tuned for the flights coming up for September. But all for now we will enjoy the Cuban flair and nights and lots of Mojito's Icon_idea
