Well it was again time for another MP Session tonight and there were Pär, Stefaan and Vic joining. We all started flying the Quest Kodiak Float version, but soon Vic started to have some control problems and change aircraft and again for some more problems...
And also again Pär had some of his fabulous FSX crashes Hopefully we will be able to resolve them now with a clean re-install of FSX to a different directory. Good luck mate!
OK, we all joined at KBE for the long flight via a lot of Seaplane bases along the route, of which the most we only will overhead...
Time to depart. Pär is taking the lead and Stefaan following close behind. Next was me taking off into a different direction (directly into the wind) and last but not least Vic.
I then followed the big river and after the right corner there was Yes Bay Lodge just in front of me. Unfortunately I was too high and too fast for a touch and go, so I just overhead it...
Right turn for a touch and go at an undisclosed place.
Small village along the route.
And another one:
Same village just after a touch and go.
A nice cabin somewhere in nowhere.
Some more nice villages with little industry.
Klawock PAKW.
Then it happened that I flew a really tight formation with Vic and Stefaan.
For some reason FSInn assigned Vic the Ta-152C, which really looks nice
Even in FS9 the Tongass Scenery has much to offer.
En-route to Sitka we had to clear some higher mountains, but it worked out good.
Biorka Island where the VOR BKA is located.
Vic and Stefaan have already arrived at Sitka (PASI) and I am preparing for a right downwind to RWY 11.
Turing to final.
Taxi in.
Unfortunately the end of another great MP Session, although there weren't so many touch and goes the scenery is worth flying there.
Final line up: My aircraft, Stefaan, Vic and Pär is somewhere behind the trees in the water at A29.
Hopefully next Saturday will be as good as today with some really good scenery. If you have the scenery either for FSX or FS9, you have to try out these flights.
Nevertheless I wish you all a good weekend and enjoy either watching these pictures or make some flights on your own - wherever.
