Nav log in FSX

Is there any way to look at the Nav Log of a flight (FLT file) stored in FSX without loading it first?

It would appear that it can be tweaked with a simple trick:

Go to your Control Panel / printers in the normal Windows (XP etc) screen and checkmark "output to txt file" ( or a similar wording ).
Then "print" the navlog out of FS. If you lay a path to your "My Documents" folder that makes it more convenient.
