Report of TradeWind F1 Charter TR2119-11 with the B747-400, PJ-TYB 'Empress of Africa'.

Today's flight took us from Sao Paulo,Brazil (SBGR) to Mexico City (MMMX).

Aircraft: B747-400 PJ-TYB

Block to block time: 8 hr 42 min

Total Fuel used: 190.700 lbs
Using live weather with ASE

Times are ZULU
[SBGR dep 12.15 – MMMX arr 20.57]
Route: SCB UM656 MINCE UM782 BRU UL655 ISEKI UB554 RBC UA321 IQT UA565 QIT UL318 IZT J13 TEQ V15 VIVER
DEP: RW09L CGO2
ARR: VIVER2 RW05L

Our aircraft, the 'Empress of Africa' is awaiting us at the apron while we're performing the flight briefing.

Pushed back with engines 3 & 4 already running, now starting engines 1 & 2...

All systems ready and taxiing out to our assigned runway 09L for takeoff which would give us a short taxi considering our parking spot.

Lined up on RW09L and waiting for take off clearance
With our ZFW of 454.120 lbs and 232.000 lbs of fuel on board we got V1=137, Vr=151 and V2=167.

Climbing out, leaving Sao Paolo behind with a bit of a mixed feeling considering my memories of Ayrton Senna.
I still vividly remember his first victory, a pure supremacy in the rain, at the Portugese GP in '85 by which he became my hero.

Part2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YLaegdlNjU

So I had to get tickets for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps that year, and thanks to my parents I did...
So I got rewarded by his second victory !

I still enjoy the memories of seeing him soar by every year since at the Spa Francorchamps circuit.... that was an event I'd never miss out on again until that sad day at Imola...

"Até que nos encontremos de novo meu amigo"

Cruising along went smooth and here we're passing Quito, Equador

Arriving at the Mexian border with a view at Tapachula

And a bit later on, Juchitan de Zaragoza

Arrival over Mexico City....

... on the VIVER2 arrival setting us up for RW05L

All set up and turning to final

Arrived at Mexico City and taxiing to our gate

All systems shut down at Benito Juarez, and preparing for the return leg to Curacao

Flown using:
Microsoft Flight simulator 9
PMDG 747-400 (Tradewind repaint by Jack Ford)

Flight Operations Center ( http://www.danur.com/frontpage/prod01.htm ) for planning
Active Sky Evolution for weather

Scenery:
Sao Paulo, Guarulhos by LatinVFR
Mexico City by FlyMex Mexico City & Central

And I owe a big THANK YOU to Christian who made this full 2011 F1 season possible for me, THANKS CHRISTIAN !
