Hello fellow TCA pilots !

Did anyone succeed in importing the TDM or TCA texture for the ATR into the Flight One ATR model ?
If yes, what is the procedure for the installation ?

Friendly Regards,

Sylvain (France)

yes. It works fine.
Just use the F1 Text-O-Matic tool for the ATR.
Unzip the texture zip to the FS/F1/TOM/templates directory, run the tool, select the ATR, texture, and set the other options, click the "create aircraft" button, sit back and watch the magic.

Thanks Jeroen,

I installed the Text-O-matic and followed the install wizard to create the plane.
The problem I have now is that I have no TCA texture in the Text-O-Matic template folder. The texture folder of the TCA plane is composed of several files instead of one template file as requested in the Text-O-Matic.
Any idea about this ? I use FS2004.

Thanks for your help.

If you have the same zip I do there are 2 files in there, one for the day textures (tradewind.bmp), one for the night textures (tradewind_a.bmp).
Place those two inside the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Flight One Software\Text-o-Matic\Templates (or FS2004 equivalent) directory, not the zipfile.

Run through the Text-o-Matic and it should be installed into FS.

Hi Jeroen,

I understand now the file difference.
I used the "new" TCA ATR file in the TDM hangar. You are using the "old" Tradewind Fleet file in the "more" hangar where a texture file is dedicated to the Flight One ATR.
The problem is.... that the link to those files doesn't work anymore!
Sorry to annoy you again, but can you send the 2 texture files to my email address ?

alpha_azur@hotmail.com
or
sylvain.pillons@gmail.com

The F1 ATR is also flying ok with other textures, but I prefer the TCA ones... :-)

The Flight One files are in the more/payware hangar but the direct link to the file is:

ah, you were using (or rather trying to) textures for a different aircraft...

Taking off is easy, it's figuring out where to go and how to get down again that's tricky :)
But the tutorials are quite nice, and should get you buzzing around quickly.
