Being at Newport after last saturdays MP session I took the opportunity to visit a friend of mine at Twin Oaks (7S3); Robert C. Stark and his wife Betty.
They are the owners of Twin Oaks Airport and are located at 12405 S.W. RIVER RD, HILLSBORO, OR 97123 (503-628-2056).
The airport is located just about 70 nm NorthWest of Newport

Took off from Newport RWY 20

Turning to fly towards Newberg VOR (117.4 UBG)

Cruised at 4.000 ft passing Laurel Mountain

.... while passing Willamina (below) and Sheridan (ahead) along the way

a closer look at Sheridan

... Passing McMinnville

... and Lafayette... clouds being around all the way.

Finally over Newber VOR turning towards Twin Oaks which can be seen just below the left wingtip.

Over Twin Oaks, descending to 1100 ft, pattern altitude and outbound to intercept RW 20

Hillsboro below as we turn back to intercept RW20

Having acquired a visual on RW20 and going in.

Just after roll-out and ready to taxi to the parking, the PC12 being one of the larger aircraft here

Some screenshots of the airport and the environment itself:

Nice spot for having a cold beer

The house and Roberts hangar with a Cub that needs restoration

Enjoying other GA coming and going...

Ehem, Tongueroll

I am speechless. Dance3Biggrin
No seriously, these sceneries are really great and some other designers could cut some slices off from them (Looking to Paderborn nowRofl).

Not directly.
I was more or less referring to AS itself and their factory, or how ever you might call it, as it is located near the airport of Paderborn/Lippstadt...
