So it's my first time flying a Heavy for Tradewind, the A330, on leg 1 of the June cargo dispatch.

Turning towards KIAD

When this happened!Help Notice the blank MFDs, toppled secondary instruments. Double engine flameout and no idea why it happened, but think it's a sim bug. I couldn't restart the engines and had to glide to runway10 at KIAD which was luckily in range, but no flaps no gear meant a very expensive landingAshamed and lots of work for the NTSB and engineers! Hope to have a replacement aircraft available for leg 2!

Hi Steve.

Good you fly the Cargo Dispatch - bad you damaged the new A330.Big_boss

Maybe you should try one of the more robust aircrafts next time.
Seriously: I think those bugs - wherever they might be - are very annoying. I hope you will have more luck on the remaining legs as this Cargo Dispatch has some very nice sceneries to offer - for FS9 Rofl AshamedBeach

Stefaan, according to the registration it could well be that he uses the A330 repaint/model out of the TL hangar by Tom Ruth.

@Steve. Sorry but I somehow forgot to comment to the pictures themselves, which are again very well done. Keep up the good work. Drinks

Regarding the panel problem. I think this install.txt is missing:
1) unzip toma32f.zip folder to a suitable folder, your desktop for example.
2) copy the sound and sound.ai folders from your default FSX Airbus_A321 into the new Tom_A330-200F folder.
3) copy the following files from your default FSX Airbus_A321/panel folder into the new Tom_A330-200F/panel.330 folder:
airbus_a321_panel_background.bmp
airbus_a321_panel_background_night.bmp
Airbus_A321.cab
do not copy other files from this folder!
4) copy the following files from your default FSX Airbus_A321/texture folder into the new Tom_A330-200F/texture.AB folder:
Airbus_A321_1_C.dds
Airbus_A321_2_C.dds
Airbus_A321_3_C.dds
Airbus_A321_4_C.dds
do not copy other files from this folder!
5) move the entire Tom_A330-200F folder into your FSX aircraft folder.
6) Unzip all files from the lighteffects folder into your FSX/effects folder

Thanks for all your comments guys! Christian, you're right it's the Tom Ruth A330 from the TL Hangars. I've checked all the files and they're good - in fact the panel worked fine until top of descent when I started reducing speed on the autopilot panel. I received a continuous master caution followed by the engines not responding and eventually the electrics shut down. Ther was no obvious reason I could find for the problem so I don't know if it's a system bug or not. I'll be flying leg 2 over the next couple of days using the same aircraft so I'll see if the Airbus behaves itself on that and let you know!

Cheers

SteveThank-you
